An anthropological take on Covid as a Right of Passage. Each piece will feature a different person in a different part of the world from Kinshasa to Cairo talking about their life before the pandemic, how it has changed as the effects of the pandemic have hit their country and their daily life, and what they anticipate for a future post-pandemic life which is likely to be radically altered.

Digitaldjeli is the working name of Caroline Hellyer a freelance multiplatform journalist currently based in South Devon. She trained as a broadcast journalist at Cardiff School of Journalism and worked for the BBC World Service when it was still at Bush House. Since then she has reported from India to Spain and Central Africa for a variety of outlets includng Al Jazeera, the Royal African society and The East African amongst others. Radio is definitely her first love.
