Ansuman Biswas and Caroline Waters will host an open space for music and movement. Caroline will lead a short warm-up and introduction to the principles of Contact Improvisation after which participants of all ages and levels of experience will be invited to actively move or to sit and listen, watch, or simply be in the space. Ansuman will hold the space through music and silence, guiding, sculpting and responding to the energy of the dance.
Caroline studied Theatre BA Hons at Dartington 1985-1989 and taught on the Theatre BA, on and off from 1992, and regularly from 1996 to 2007, only leaving when the college moved to Falmouth. She helped to set up, and taught on, the Dance BA Ansuman studied Music BA Hons 1989-1992 He helped to set up, and taught on, the MA in Arts & Ecology He has been Artist-in-Residence on the estate on a number of occasions and has taught, organised conferences, exhibitions and performances of many kinds there since 1992
