Producer Alex Marsh says:
I suppose it could be described as an ambient documentry on the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall where I spent many years as a volunteer. It is mostly instrumental tunes throughout the show in the background, three of which I recorded myself using my tascam. It features interviews about all aspects of the sanctuary’s work, interactions with monkeys and sections of a public talk on the woolly monkeys.
It also has some memories from keepers about the times when I was there Including some memories from someone who volunteered there a couple of years ago. All of the the interviews, monkey sounds and public talk I recorded and edited myself both here in Totnes , the Monkey Sanctuary and on Seaton beach in Cornwall (about a mile from the Sanctuary).
Thank you to all those who contributed to “Sanctuary Tails”:
